Member Information

Anyone interested in the history or genealogy of Amite County Mississippi is encouraged to join us in the ACHGS.  Although we expect that most members will have ties to Amite County as a current or past resident or will have family, past or present, that resided in the county, membership does not require anyone to have such ties.  The table below shows the current categories of membership and the associated annual dues.  A membership application may be obtained by:

e-mailing to indicate interest and providing a postal address,

printing the final page of one of the newsletters and completing the form thereon, or

printing and completing the html version of the form.

 Remitting of dues with the completed application is needed and expected.
